AV Project Manager
LVS is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial AV Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial audio-visual projects. This role involves managing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all installations are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting the client’s specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AV technologies, excellent project management skills and experience, and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This position reports directly to the AV Division Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
Manage the full lifecycle of AV projects.
Develop and track project plans, schedules, and milestones.
Collaborate on AV requirements and provide guidance.
Attend Weekly PM meetings in the office.
Project Leadership:
Coordinate with internal teams (engineers, installers, designers).
Manage subcontractors to ensure timely, quality work within budget.
Budget & Resource Oversight:
Review budgets and ensure timely project completion with proper resource allocation.
Procure and manage AV equipment and materials.
Facilitate change order documentation
Client Communication:
Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
Risk Management:
Identify project risks and create mitigation plans with AV Management
Resolve issues to keep projects on track.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure systems meet standards and client needs before handover.
Conduct site inspections to verify work compliance.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain project documentation and conduct post-project evaluations.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience (5+ years) in managing commercial AV projects, including experience with AV integration, system design, and installation.
Strong knowledge of AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, audio systems, and control systems.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Office 365 Suite).
Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and best practices in AV design and installation.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or other relevant AV certifications, CTS-I & CTS-D certifications are a PLUS
Experience working in commercial sectors such as corporate offices, educational facilities, government buildings, and other commercial environments
Familiarity with building codes and compliance regulations related to AV systems.
Work Environment:
Travel to client sites will be required for project management and site assessments.
