LVS Names First Ever General Manager: Nick Siwak

LVS is excited to announce the promotion of their Chief Operating Officer, Nick Siwak, RCDD, RTPM, to the companies first ever General Manager effective immediately.

Nick started at LVS back in 1999 as one of the companies first IBEW Local 134 electrician apprentices shortly after they opened their doors in 1997. He began working on smaller jobs and developing his craftsmanship in structured cabling and understanding how the field operates. Nick continued to excel through working as a Journeyman, Foreman, and General Foreman. In 2007, Nick was selected to run the Northwest Community Healthcare Bed Tower project which was LVS’s largest project to date with over 2 million feet of Category-6 cable and 50K feet of fiber optic cable. Shortly after the project wrapped in 2009, Nick moved on to run the next biggest project: Silver Cross Hospital. He managed over 15-electricians installing multiple systems including structured cabling, distributed antenna system, fiber optic backbone, and various others. Nick has continued to maintain the relationship with Silver Cross as they have expanded throughout our community the last 15 years.

With a proven track record of efficiency in project management, profitability, and overall leadership, Nick was promoted to Superintendent to manage the company’s growing field of 35-electricians in 2012. Nick did more than just effectively run projects and how our field operates, he created an environment where people are eager to learn and want to stay. LVS has been fortune to have technicians celebrate decade(s) anniversaries and retirements - and know Nick is a huge reason for that. As LVS continued to grow and expand service offerings, it was time for the company to establish its first Chief Operating Officer. It was a natural progression and decision for leadership to promote Nick to COO in August of 2017. He brought those same talents into the office and has continuously demonstrated what an essential piece of the day-to-day he is. Nick spent the last seven years setting standards for the company and working with project management, field personnel, and administrative staff to ensure that the processes, training, and quality of the services LVS provides reflect these standards.

Nick has proven to be a problem-solver, an out-of-the-box thinker, and an overall incredible and trusted leader. All while managing a field of sometimes 90+ technicians, he has also taken on overseeing the administrative and financial operations of the business the past year. 2023 brought LVS some unforeseen challenges + growing pains, but Nick consistently remained the ‘calm’ in the storm. He stepped up without question to implement new policies and procedures that have added immense value to the business. LVS owners, Gary + Teresa St. Cin, wanted to recognize Nick with a title that more encompasses who he is at LVS, which is none other than the 1st General Manager in their history. He has become family to the St. Cin’s and they cannot be more proud and excited for this next chapter.

“As we enter the New Year with exciting changes ahead, we felt it was time to give Nick a title that better fits his role here at LVS. He has proven to be a problem-solver and trusted leader over the last 25 years and this is a well-deserved position he’s earned.”

– Gary St. Cin, President/CEO

Nick will be working closely with Gary on overall business strategy, financial operations, and overseeing all departments of the business. The promotion was officially announced to the company at our year-end holiday party on 12/15. Join the LVS Team in congratulating Nick on this well-deserved career accomplishment!
