Project Highlight: Crest Hill City Hall & Police Station Complex

As the City of Crest Hill sat in it’s 80-year old building at Plainfield Road and Larkin Ave in 2014, they began developing their plans for a new facility to better accommodate their residents needs. That plan consisted of purchasing the 19 acres of land next to the city’s Public Library to be the home of their new City Hall and Police Station. The city’s goal was to provide a centralized location for all of their residents to have easy access to all the resources in one place.

This modern facility will be functional and operational with room for growth for many years to come. The City Hall building will also be functional and operational to meet the needs of our residents and improve the quality of life for all of our employees and residents. We will also transfer our current Veterans/Police Memorial Garden to this new site to show respect for all of our Veterans and Police Officers who have served our country and our community. My hope is to also, one day, have an outdoor bandshell in order to host concerts and other activities throughout the year as a gathering place for our community.

- Mayor Ray Solimon
